Luke and Kate were a delight to work with from start to finish in our home building project. With their gifts and experience they were able to help us time and again with the array of issues that inevitably arise with such an endeavor. Their work was thorough, even meticulous, in the planning and the building. Their communication about schedules and costs and subcontractors (who we also appreciated) was top of the line with practically day-by-day input (this was different from our two prior building experiences).
Finally, while they clearly care about building an excellent home, more than that it became clear that they cared about us. It's hard to top that combination.

It feels great to be finished building and we couldn’t be happier with our new home, but in all honestly we miss having McDonagh Construction around. Throughout the process they became our friends. It gives us great comfort knowing that our home was built by people who care. I have found very few people who have built a home and can say the same thing.

Not only did we end up with a beautiful home, but a new friendship as well. We would highly recommend McDonagh Construction for any project. The people and quality of work are outstanding!

McDonagh Construction made building a home very easy for us. They took the time to help us; whether it was a layout issue or a personal opinion, they always seemed to guide us in the right direction. Their attention to detail was second to none and their attitudes were always very positive. When there was an obstacle they took care of it right away without ever being alarmed. One of things that I admired most about these guys is the amount of respect they showed us and our project. They treated the project as if it were their own.

Luke McDonagh was personable and professional. He was responsive to our needs throughout the entire building process of our fishing lodge. We appreciated the line of communication he maintained throughout the project, he always called to inform us about time frames, changes and costs.

McDonagh Construction paid close attention to detail and were very conscientious of their work. They were very neat and tidy; always picking up their tools and cleaning up at the end of the day. Their prices are competitive and they are a pleasure to be around.
